Spanish Trail Campground
Moab, Utah
Near Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park
Rig: 36’ 5th Wheel Tow Vehicle: Dodge Ram Dually long-bed
However, the gorgeous red rock mountain behind the Park made quite a nice view when sitting out by the RV. And we could look out our door to the East and see gorgeous mountains and sunrises.
Full Hook Up (FHU); fairly clean bathrooms/shower facility.
Great pool and hot tub area with lots of nice patio furniture.
Adequate small laundry facility. Nice staff, small office
with a small selection of camping items.
Spanish Trail has small gravel sites that were pretty level. We were in close proximity to our neighbor but enough
room to extend slides on both sides and awnings without touching.
It was a little difficult to park our long-bed dually on the
site with the camper.
There is not much grass in this area of Utah but each site
had a very green patch of grass and a picnic table. (We were
there in September) Piper loved the green grass as she had to learn to potty on sand or gravel on this trip. Our little Southern dog was not use to this terrain.
There is a fabulous bike trail in Moab that accesses Arches
National Park. It is a MUST if you enjoy biking. More on this in another Post.
Full disclosure: We loved Canyonlands National Park and I posted about it.
We only liked Arches. If in the area you need to see it, but it was not in our top 3-4.
Moab was quaint and interesting. No Wal Mart or Big Box store. One semi-large grocery store. Lots of small shops with high prices. I knew this ahead of time so we stocked up on groceries in Cortez, CO, before traveling to Moab.
Happy Trails and thanks for following along.
