Small Park but very clean. GREAT staff in the office, too!
Sites were VERY wide. Outside sites backed up to fences but we had about 20’ between us and the fence.
Every time someone leaves, they drag the site with a large chain-link fence apparatus that smooths the site. This kept ruts from forming and kept the sites more level. GREAT idea!

Very nice area behind the Office with Adirondack chairs, BBQ area.
Close to Wal-Mart and grocery stores and restaurants.
It was 10 miles to Mesa Verde’s gate and then you drive another 30 minutes to get to the ruins. Not bad but we only visited the Park one day.
We drove 45 miles (about an hour on mountainous roads) to Durango to catch the American Railroad Durango to Silverton Durango to Silverton Train. It is a beautiful drive and the train ride was one of the highlights of our Southwest Trip.
